Background :The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the conversion of tyrosine to dopamine. It is the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of catecholamines, hence plays a key role in the physiology of adrenergic neurons. Mutations in this gene have been associated with autosomal recessive Segawa syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for this gene. Western blot analysis of extracts of PC-12 cells, using Phospho-Tyrosine Hydroxylase-S40 pAb at 1:1000 dilution or Tyrosine Hydroxylase antibody .PC-12 cells were treated by Forskolin at 37℃ for 30 minutes.
Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% BSA.
