Background :Carries out a dual signal transduction and activation of transcription. Mediates cellular responses to the cytokine KITLG/SCF and other growth factors. Mediates cellular responses to ERBB4. May mediate cellular responses to activated FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 and FGFR4. Binds to the GAS element and activates PRL-induced transcription. Regulates the expression of milk proteins during lactation.

Western blot analysis of extracts of K562 cells, using Phospho-STAT5-Y694 pAb at 1:1000 dilution.K-562 cells were treated by ATP at 30℃ for 1 hour.
Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% BSA.
Detection: ECL Basic Kit .
Exposure time: 1s.
