Background :The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the addition of glucose monomers to the growing glycogen molecule through the formation of alpha-1,4-glycoside linkages. Mutations in this gene are associated with muscle glycogen storage disease. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Purification&Purity :The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using Phospho-GYS1-S641 antibody at 1:1000 dilution.NIH/3T3 cells and C6 cells were treated by CIP at 37℃ for 1 hour.
Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% BSA.
Detection: ECL Basic Kit .
Exposure time: 10s.

Western blot analysis of extracts of 293T cells, using Phospho-GYS1-S641 pAb at 1:1000 dilution or Glycogen synthase 1 antibody .293T cells were treated by CIP at 37℃ for 1 hour.
