Product Name :CD326 monoclonal antibody
Applications :WB, IHC, IF
Application_all :WB (1/500 - 1/1000), IHC (1/100 - 1/300), IF (1/100 - 1/500)
Background :Epithelial cell adhesion and activating molecule (EpCAM/CD326) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that mediates Ca2+-independent, homophilic adhesions on the basolateral surface of most epithelial cells. EpCAM is not expressed in adult squamous epithelium, but it is highly expressed in adeno and squamous cell carcinomas. Research studies identified EpCAM as one of the first tumor-associated antigens, and it has long been a marker of epithelial and tumor tissue. Investigators have shown that EpCAM is highly expressed in cancer cells.
Product :Mouse IgG. Liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.2% BSA and 0.01% sodium azide.
Purification&Purity :The antibody was affinity-purified from mouse antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage&Stability :Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity :Recognizes endogenous levels of CD326 protein.
