Background :KCNB1, also named as DRK1, KV2.1, and h-DRK1, belongs to the potassium channel family and B (Shab) subfamily. KCNB1 mediates the voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Channels open or close in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, letting potassium ions pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient. The antibody is specific to KCNB1.

Product :1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.3.

Purification&Purity :The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage&Stability :Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity :KCNB1 (phospho-S805) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of KCNB1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser805 .
