Product Name :PFKL (E724) polyclonal antibody
Reactivity :Human,Mouse,Rat
Application_all :IHC: 1:50~1:200
Background :Phosphofructokinase (PFK) catalyzes the phosphorylation of fructose-6-phosphate in glycolysis. There are three isozymes: muscle-type, liver-type, and platelet-type. The liver-type PFK (PFKL) is the predominant subunit of PFK found in the liver. Research studies have shown that because of its location on chromosome 21, this enzyme is overexpressed in Down Syndrome/trisomy 21. PFKL also may have a role in the physiological response to a low fat diet.
Product :Rabbit IgG, 1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.2
Purification&Purity :The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage&Stability :Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity :PFKL (E724) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of PFKL protein.
Note :For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
